Realistic operational schedules and hourly profiles of equipment and occupancy are becoming very important in building simulation, especially as UK and EU building regulations require more precise prediction of performance.
ECOTECT schedules are .SCH files and are ASCII. For detailed information on how to create schedules please refer to the ECOTECT Help File. It is important to note that when ECOTECT uses schedules they are indicative not absolute, that is they represent a generic year of operation not a specific year.
The following is all the schedule data that Square One has, although we are always on the look out for additional data to assist users in the environmental design process. If while using ECOTECT you create any which you think may be useful to others, and are willing to make it available in the public domain, please contact us with what you have, and (after checking) we will post it here with full credits to you (of course).
