What does ecotect take into account when asigning this elements for thermal calculations? I understand the FLOOR element is important for internal gains, since you need to have a floor area. Are there any more differences? What is the difference between a WALL and a CEILING? If i have a sloped 45 degree angle wall, what should it be, a WALL or a CEILING?.
I'm trying to model a rectangular duct inside a room. I've set this up as another thermal zone. Should the top and bottom of the duct be set as ceiling and floor? or all 4 sides as wall? The material is the same in all 4 longitudinal sides and only 1 side of 2 caps is in contact with the exterior.
