Materials - Advance Export Tab

I am trying to create some new/revised material types to smooth Ecotect model export into Radiance. I recently noticed the "Advance Export" tab in the material properties dialog box. From here, it looks as though you can assign properites specific to various programs (including Radiance). I have successfully created new glass types with proper transmissivity values to override Ecotects errors.

It works...but have the following issues:
1)When I save these chnages, sometimes the Radiance descriptors disappears. I reload them, but they still disappear.
2)When I save these files to my Global Mats Library, they will remain in my material library for that model. When I open a different model, it doesn't appear that these new materials import with the Global library.

I thought there were others, but cannot think of them. I think this is a great tool, but it doesn't help the Ecotect community much if it doesn't work.

Has anyone used this...? If so, have you noticed these problems?

Thanks,

Chris
